I think its an analogy comparing a girl to marijuana/acid.
In the sense that shes an addiction and makes him feel good, but in reality shes really bad for him and manipulates his actions

I also think "IS THIS A SUBLIMINAL HIT!?" might mean something significant just not completely sure what or how significant.
