I have heard 2 versions of this song: the original from the 1999 Christmas single (entitled Driftin'), and recently the one found on Lost Dogs (called Drifting). I have to say that the original is much better. They are essentially the same song, but the original is just so much more relaxed, and the worst part is the lack of "damn" in the "they get so damn excited" part. In the Lost Dogs version he just draws out "so" and it sounds too unnatural. So I suggest you check out the original if the Lost Dogs version is the only version you have heard.
