i agree with shadowsilence, i think that this song is about forgiveness. At the start of the song it seems like the two people are really distant "you on the floor, i was so attached to the ceiling.." and that whatever is being said between them is really nasty "the glass in your mouth". But as the song goes on, the relationship begins to seem more positive "you whispered in my ear" (a sign of closeness?) and "everything will be alright, even if the city ignites" which to me means whatever happens now, we'll be ok.. Just another opinion :)
