"It's a measure of people who don't understand
The pleasures of life in a hillbilly band"
What a great line and oh so true. I relate this line to all those people who say that country music is too twangy, too sad, too old-fashioned, and too backwards. Country music is real, is about life, and is the most honest and revealing genre of music that I've ever experienced. It's a shame that some people don't get to experience it. And, ol' Waylon is one of my favorites of all-time. There should definitely be a lot more of his songs on this site such as "Drinking and Dreaming," "Broken Promise Land," "I've Always Been Crazy," "It's Not Supposed to be That Way," etc. etc. etc. I mean, come on, these are classics!!!
