Could this be about the all old Werewolves story of being incapable of being near a loved one, because of the danger?

Apparently the program was hosted by a guy named Nick Mancuso. An actor who had studied psychology before going on professional acting.
The clips have to be from the "We are not alone" episode, which covers: Angels, Ghosts and....Vampires!
