Another great one from Mike Batt. (For his other huge hit check out 'Closest Thing To Crazy' also off of Katie's Call Off The Search.) Very cinematic with an almost throw-back seventies feel with the lovely orchestra. Definitely a favourite. Not a lot like it these days!
I agree in that it seems to be the thoughts of the narrator having fallen madly and unexpectedly. So much emotion and exposition. She won't own up to the way she's feeling and is rather satisfied to leave it at the surface of things and just 'blame it on the moon' -- an external stimulus outside of her control. I love it.
