Blame It on the Moon Lyrics
Didn't want to fall in love again so soon.
Didn't want to fall in love with anyone.
I'll blame it on the moon
'Cause it's not my fault;
I didn't think I'd this would happen so soon
So I'll blame it on the moon.
Didn't think I'd give myself so easily.
As I wonder is it wrong to feel so right.
I'll blame it on the moon
'Cause it's not my fault;
I didn't think I'd this would happen so soon
So I'll blame it on the moon.
Didn't want to fall in love again so soon.
Didn't want to fall in love with anyone.
I'll blame it on the moon
'Cause it's not my fault;
I didn't think I'd this would happen so soon
So I'll blame it on the moon

This song to me is about falling in love with someone and not being able to get them out of your mind no matter what.

For me this song is about someone who has ended a relationship, and doesn't want to fell in love again at least not for now. But has now falling very much in love with someone, and can't stop thinking about that person.

Another great one from Mike Batt. (For his other huge hit check out 'Closest Thing To Crazy' also off of Katie's Call Off The Search.) Very cinematic with an almost throw-back seventies feel with the lovely orchestra. Definitely a favourite. Not a lot like it these days!
I agree in that it seems to be the thoughts of the narrator having fallen madly and unexpectedly. So much emotion and exposition. She won't own up to the way she's feeling and is rather satisfied to leave it at the surface of things and just 'blame it on the moon' -- an external stimulus outside of her control. I love it.
