"Everyone tells me they're crazy
Well crazy people aren't so fucking boring"
That's about Billie Joe Armstrong. Him and Chris (bassist for Jawbreaker) we're hanging out and Billie was most likely high, and he said, "I'm fucking crazy!" so Chris wrote that part of the song based on that, it's kind of in response to Blakes disdain towards Green Day.

I think if you care enough to put time into quiet, covert, and tireless observation of a person, you will see things about a person that they likely will never see in themselves. I like this lyric because it begs to ask why do we bother to scrutinize someone. To deconstruct and understand is obvious. What I want to know is it done with an underlying negative or positive motive. Could be universal, but in this instance I think there is an actual subject in mind. I deduce a female subject and its decidedly negative to the point of contempt. i.e. If she could see herself right now, what a fool she is making of herself.
