i disagree, deatcloud. i think it's about a relationship that has been long over, but he wants it to start again. she broke up with him because she thought he was cold and emotionless. he's trying to tell her that he's not hollow, he just doesn't show his emotion.

I feel its the opposite as I can relate right now. I am so hurt and numb but I know this isnt all there is, this can not take over everything I feel. I am not empty and there is so much more to feel besides the pain she caused.
