I havent read all the comments,so i'm sure someone has already said something similar,but i think that this is a nice simple song. I'm not into this kinda music much,but when i first heard it,i thought it was something from a decade ago because of the voice. I really liked the song because of what it was saying. Most of you are older people who think this a childish game. BUt nothing hurts more than the absence of hope,whether is be with an ex or anything else. I have a personal story about why i love this song,but i am sure it isnt anything that hasnt been said before. The use of the F bomb,i thought really put a nice spin on things. Because when you're feeling this stuff,it's not all nice and SOPPY. I think the whole high thing doesnt mean off marajuana,but just numb and mesmerized. His "plan" is simply to live or try to. Where the video comes into play. I am glad that they made a simple video for a simple song,even though it became a radio hit. I think the main goal of this song,beside Blunt's personal feelings, is to paint a picture of what it's like without hope. And it usually hurts more when its considered with love. My girlfriend recently dumped me for her ex,and this song kinda made things worse,and yet better at the same time. It's easy to say the song is lyrically dumb and stupid and pointless,but sometimes those are the ones that hit the hardest.
