Most of the songs on that album are about Pat Monahan's divorce, but I don't think this particular song is about his ex-wife. It's not clear from the album credits who wrote each song on this album, so I can't say for sure that this song seems to be about a new, mysterious woman that Pat is interested in -- but that's my best guess.
