I always thought that what the Mary Chain did best is write vaguely disturbing (lyrically) songs about giving a girl head. "She'll take you down and make you eat/Her fish/Her poisoned fish/Is on a dish." Jesus Christ! They COULD be more obvious, but it would require the song to feature a chorus of "this song is about giving oral sex."
