The Mary Chain doing what they do best, songs about girls which are really about scoring drugs. This one has a the surreal intense irrational reality of a dream. Perhaps one of their best songs, ending with a graceful and hypnotic guitar repitition. Understated and beautiful.
Seems like a drug song to me. Don't think psychocandy is a girl at all as others are wont to interpret.
I always thought that what the Mary Chain did best is write vaguely disturbing (lyrically) songs about giving a girl head. "She'll take you down and make you eat/Her fish/Her poisoned fish/Is on a dish." Jesus Christ! They COULD be more obvious, but it would require the song to feature a chorus of "this song is about giving oral sex."
