I find this song ironic because the theme is "sacrilige" according to most, yet the voice in the song is anything but. This is a song about true belief; from the soul, not regurgitated doctrine. At least, that is what it seems she is saying.
Also, the line--"eternal salvation suffers from inflation"--seems to be reffering to the practice of buying ones way into Christian heaven. What is the difference between modern televangelists and medieval priests seelling indulgences...?
Basically, the song seems to be commenting on the negative aspects of Christianity...The line "Woman is the Devil/Your God is a fraud" seems to be direct anger towards such beliefs.
