In the second to last line, the word "fit" is actually "hide". It says "fit" in the booklet too, but in the song it is clearly "hide". Anyway, the lyrics are pretty strait forward: commenting negatively on religion, most likely Christianity ("holy ghost"). The last four lines in particular really sum up the puritanical views of religion/Christianity. It also seems to be telling religion to "suck it". ^^ Some of the lines are rather obscure or just metaphoric, though: "Inebriated leather-host" and "Shards of empty battle grey/Poisoned beasts are out to play" Any ideas?

@freakishfae You're a fucking moron. It's called Ikon. As in Icon. It's about idols distorting your own beliefs and making you believe a poisoned version of what is true. The album is called Xtort. Extortion in this case meaning political and ideological extortion. So if this song did mean anything about Christianity, it would be speaking about Christianity as told through a "leather host".
