love this song sooo much...um...meaning? same thing I said for this song under Dallas Green's name! having the person you love, basically, be in charge of your fate. As in they are trying to decide whether or not they want to stay with you, and you just want them to make the decision and fast, because it's hurting you to have to wait. Does that make sense?...I feel like elaborating even though I think Is aid it clearly...I just feel like it...if you understand you can just not read this.
I think it's just describing his state at one point...I guess...

"and my heart held in your hands"...the other person doesn't yet know how they feel, or won't tell him. he has laid himself on the line...he is basically giving his heart to this person and telling them to make up their mind.
