This is song is most likely about the comments I made about the Acceptance song "Compromise", which was on their first album. I think this song is Jason's reoccurring feelings in regards to the topic of "Compromise":
"I think this song is about Jason's (the lead singer) drummer from his first group "Day Zero". I'm not sure about the actual tension, but it's my understanding there was some real drama between the Drummer and Jason. Regardless, when Acceptance was formed, I think the drummer (who I'll leave nameless) decided to choose a new life path. The 'He' that is spoken about in this song is god, because Day Zero was a christian band, and as is evident, there are some christian undertones in Acceptance's music. Jason wants god to show the drummer the way, not leave the band and also not compromise with his other 'commitments'. But that's just my guess... "
