Permanent Lyrics
Not that it matters, but I think it beings "Some time AGO, I keep losing track..."
Good song, good band.
this song kicks ass, acceptance rocks
yeah it is supposed to be ago
god this song is so good
This is my favorite Acceptance song--cant wait to see these guys in two days
Does anybody else get the feeling that this song is about losing friends? Kind of like the friends promised they would watch the singers back, but "nothing is permanent" so that never happened.
I think this songs about life changing and nothing staying the same, and the doode cant make it stay the same and hes like...aw...that sucks
Best song off the cd. first song i heart'd by em also.
I think this song is about not letting your life be permanent, i think its a contradiction of what he's saying. I guess its his tone of voice that kind of says "dont let your life be something you dont want" because he says nothing is permanent hes saying your life doesnt have to end the way everyone else would want it to. He's saying that you have to take action and make your life what YOU WANT.
dam it i think you're right dood. i've had this song for like FOREVER and i FINALLY found out the right meaning. he's being sarcastic. permanent. NOTHINGS permanent. all the time ppl make excuses "ahh..i'm not even gonna try... i'm scrwd for life anyways" and he's saying thats its B S .he says break loose from your insecurities (from the indeicisions lasting for years)
This is song is most likely about the comments I made about the Acceptance song "Compromise", which was on their first album. I think this song is Jason's reoccurring feelings in regards to the topic of "Compromise": "I think this song is about Jason's (the lead singer) drummer from his first group "Day Zero". I'm not sure about the actual tension, but it's my understanding there was some real drama between the Drummer and Jason. Regardless, when Acceptance was formed, I think the drummer (who I'll leave nameless) decided to choose a new life path. The 'He' that is spoken about in this song is god, because Day Zero was a christian band, and as is evident, there are some christian undertones in Acceptance's music. Jason wants god to show the drummer the way, not leave the band and also not compromise with his other 'commitments'. But that's just my guess... "
i love their stuff. yah i think this song is making life what you want it.
I love these guys.. and ofcourse.. when I saw them I was in front, in the center :-) you can bet i was touching the singer lol. &&I got to talk to them and get their autos after the show.. that was a great night lol anyways, this is a really good song.
