Sometime ago,
I keep losing track over again,
All these promises won't turn golden until you Touch them

It's permanent,
Nothing is permanent
It's permanent,
We'll be watching your back following Indecision's lasting for years,
Indecision's lasting for years.

Sometime ago,
Memories in my head are starting again,
Speak it fast don't move in slow,
Running through the country maybe they will find me.

It's permanent,
Nothing is permanent
It's permanent,
We'll be watching your back,
We'll be watching your back
Following indecision's lasting for year
Indecision's lasting for years
Like a river in Arizona dried up before you were born

It's starting up again
It's starting up again
It's starting up again (We'll be watching your back)
It's starting up again
It's starting up again
We'll be watching your back its permanent Nothing is permanent
It's permanent
We'll be watching your back
It's permanent
Nothing is permanent
It's permanent
Time is pushing us back (following)
Permanent permanent permanent

Not that it matters, but I think it beings "Some time AGO, I keep losing track..." Good song, good band.

This is my favorite Acceptance song--cant wait to see these guys in two days Does anybody else get the feeling that this song is about losing friends? Kind of like the friends promised they would watch the singers back, but "nothing is permanent" so that never happened.

I think this song is about not letting your life be permanent, i think its a contradiction of what he's saying. I guess its his tone of voice that kind of says "dont let your life be something you dont want" because he says nothing is permanent hes saying your life doesnt have to end the way everyone else would want it to. He's saying that you have to take action and make your life what YOU WANT.

This is song is most likely about the comments I made about the Acceptance song "Compromise", which was on their first album. I think this song is Jason's reoccurring feelings in regards to the topic of "Compromise": "I think this song is about Jason's (the lead singer) drummer from his first group "Day Zero". I'm not sure about the actual tension, but it's my understanding there was some real drama between the Drummer and Jason. Regardless, when Acceptance was formed, I think the drummer (who I'll leave nameless) decided to choose a new life path. The 'He' that is spoken about in this song is god, because Day Zero was a christian band, and as is evident, there are some christian undertones in Acceptance's music. Jason wants god to show the drummer the way, not leave the band and also not compromise with his other 'commitments'. But that's just my guess... "

This track is about is about questioning why the sky would choose to be blue if it had the choice to be anything else, “blue also meaning sad,” states frontman Aaron Pauley. “It's about comforting a loved one in a time of loss by telling them you feel blue, too.”

Moyet later described how her song "Goodbye 70's" had been inspired by her disillusionment with how the late-1970s punk scene had turned out, saying, "'Goodbye 70's' is about punk and not caring how you were dressed, and then I discovered that so many of my friends that I'd thought it all really meant something to just saw it as another trend... That's what 'Goodbye 70's' was all about, about how sour the whole thing became."

Alma Matters
Morrissey
The man has pseudo-friends who constantly criticize his actions. They moralize him, "teach" him and advise him to make a significant change in his life, because the way he is and what he does is not what they say it should be. They may find his life lame or immoral. They hold themselves up as role models. The man replies that he will make his own choices and decisions and he does not agree to unconditionally make himself under the influence of questionable quality advice. He justifies this by saying that there is always someone for whom he will be important, no matter what he does and no matter what he is. Although it is not said directly, I read it as meaning that he will always be important to himself in every way and he will always have his own support. "Everyone is different and maybe that's a good thing, but you exceeded that mark 1000 times" - I remember very well how sad the words I once heard (from my peers and it was in negative context) at school made me feel.
