I think that She became popular, or something, through some things she did, and in his eyes, she's lost, and that the world will fall on her in some way, where every one will be angry at her, hence "I'll take the world when it turns on you" and he'll be the only one that she's got left, and then she'll be "revived" in the sense that she's bakc to the way she was, the way that he likes her.
