So in sorrow he walks around during the night, which in its beauty has the calming effect on anyone, and he ends up meeting this girl who is in the same dillemma, she has too, been dumped by her partner, these two walk around and reminisce about the good times they had with their spuses, and how much they miss them, and they both wonder why they were really dumped, but in reality both know that they will never come back to them. So each night they walk around in the beauty of the night and grow closer to each other in the romance of the darkness.
Besides this i also believe that this song is about how inevitable true love is. It can be found in the oddest places at the oddest times. If one relationship doesnt work out, then you shouldnt give up, you shouldnt do nothing but look for your true love either. you should go about your buisness casually, and then one day, one way or another, you will find the one, and then you will be eternally blessed.
