To me this song is about being on tour and going to a small club, meeting a girl that "sweeps you off your feet", having to leave her behind and the other band guys are trying to console you with words like, "at least you lived to talk about it." this song totally goes right up my alley because I meet girls for one night and have an amazing connection and find myself having to part and even though I know I will never see her again, I cant stop thinking about her. Its a shitty feeling and thats why this song is so kickass
