kyo is an awesome band - this song is great, and lyrics are beautiful... and would be even if they weren't in french... though that definitely helps.

the (non-literal) translation of the chorus is more along the lines of:
we followed the path
we kept our distance
and I hate you with all my heart
but I love you...
i guess it works better in french, but the point is that he's come so far & worked so hard for someone he knows he can never have, and he hates her for it
