I agree with "HandicappedJesus" - that part of the song made me cry the first time I heard it, because I had been through an eating disorder and it was beautiful, to me, that someone recognized the problems society can place on people and were vocal about it. Amazing.
Obviously, this song is about people doing things to themselves that are horrible for them and slowly killing them (Smoking, starving yourself/making yourself throw up, etc) even though that maybe they shouldn't be doing them, but they can't control it, or don't want to stop.
"There's a sick little suicide in all that we do/You decide: Which one's for you" - saying that everything has it's downsides.. and how you choose to do certain things can greatly impact your life and destroy it.
Definitely a great piece of artistic musical work.
