Oh I get to be the first to comment. I don't like that second line though... a leech to find? huh? OK well I can tell you what I think of it in relation to My life...two people who used to be close then kind of fell apart, as things do, and then start talking after a really long time. Maybe it was a serious relationship. And the one never really got over it. (The chorus.) Maybe they won't ever meet again face to face, they just talk over the phone or whatnot. And maybe all his old feelings come back and their interfering with other things (or other relationships) in his life. He wants to stop thinking of her, but he still wants to dream about her, if it's the only way he'll see her again. Very sad. I can relate. Probably why I love this song so much.
