This has become my favorite Deftones song! I love it. Anyway this is what I STRONGLY feel the song is about....
Two people being in a love/hate relationship. I feel that it's about somebody trying to force something on someone, or change them. Maybe it's a style of clothing or the type or music. Maybe it's something deeper like forcing a religion on someone. That's where I think the lyric "And if you don't believe, I think you should," comes from. I kinda feel that it's about forcing someone to do something that is right, and they know it's right, but they don't want to do it. Due to the person trying to force them to do they right think, the other lover becomes bitter, and the relationship slowly deteriarates.
