This is one of my favorite Genesis songs - especially I really like the 5-minute instrumental break in the middle of the song. This song has always held much meaning for me - it reminds us that we can only live each moment once. Though life is so long and most of our daily events seem so common and repetetive, each second is precious and should be savored. After the circumstances of our lives change and we part company with loved ones, we can never go back. So the events that seemed so common and boring at the time are cherished in memory in the end.
