The girl that the narrator is addressing obviously is well known for being with multiple men.The narrator knows this.She also knows that this particular girl doesn't love all of these men-and the "fool" that she's in love with is no exception.The narrator still loves said "fool" though and it breaks her heart "in two" that the sleeper-arounder leads the "fool" on like she does.
