I think this song is a lot like Use of Time..only the message is hidden in a more upbeat melody. I think this song is sorta a "pep-talk" to themselves...they want to let everyone know that they're having fun living their dream while they can...("...be sure that a dreams alive...there only short burst in life..are you able to be satisfied...do you expect fun all the time...") They've been around for a long time, and a lot of people still don't appreciate what they've brought to the music world. They're talking about how they're sick of getting shafted with shitty record sales and reviews....but even if this happened to be the end for them...they wanted to go out with a positive message. ("...Long time since we've first came here...and sometimes we fall on deaf ears...one thing I've got to say before sales dive...stay positive and love your life..") They want everybody to remember to be thankful for what you have because things could be a lot worse ("and although your true love has just left you...well at least you mother kept you..") If things do go to hell, they want their true fans to stick by them...things will get better eventually...("...and if it falls apart will you still be my friend...get back we're gonna stick together")
