The meaning this song has for me is similar to what some of the other ideas i've read. Basically what I derived from it (as a gurl...seeing if from my perspective) is that the song is about a relationship. One person doesnt realize that his/her actions and words are hurting their partner. Their words, although they dont realize are ruining the relationship listen here's the pleasant part, you and i we fell apart....some things are better left unsaid
