I love this song...He is talking about kissing a girl he has feelings for when she was drunk and this kiss didn't even matter cause He could have been anybody else...I like the line "How could I do this when I wanted her to be all mine?" I personally believe that this song has a much deeper meaning than people realize. I think by saying he "kissed" a drunk girl, he is actually using that as a metaphor of sorts to say he "slept" with a drunk girl. If you listen to the lyrics carefully it makes a lot more sense that way...
