I believe that he's not only singing to a "love" he once had... but to the actual word love. "So many people use your name in vain" is soooo true, how many people do we all know who have uttered those words and didn't mean them! Its a horribloe thought, yes I know! =p But seriously, i love this song.. because he is singing from his heart to his heart. LOVE... gotta love it!
