I think in this song, whoever wrote it was very confused. Youc an see how he is going between two things... love and hate. He knows that going for this person (a girl) is wrong and he hates everyhting about her but he loves her. Hasn't anyone had a relationship like that. For me it was my ex-boyfriend smoked pot, wanted only a physical relationship, yet I stayed with it even though I hated everything he was about, but I loved or thought I loved him. Opaque is not being able to see the other side.. not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel which is going to tell you the future, what you should exspect... but you can't see that because your blinded.
