This song is probably my favorite CC song, although I love them all. I've never seen anything on sites like www.annabegins.com but I'll tell you what I think it means. This song is one of the most in depth crows songs ever. It is about an amazing girl who the guy in the song screwed up with. In the verse he describes the qualities about her that make her a great girl. "She comes to me at night when I'm alone/ She comes to me she holds my head...when I'm crying." Then in the chorus he describes how he screwed up. "But I'm not sleeping anymore." After the second chorus and the third are my favorite parts where the guy in the song just breaks apart and loses it. It's so artistic because the instrumentals become as hysterical as the singer and it just flows (or doesn't flow) so perfectly. In the end the guy kinda says that he'll make it, though. Learn from his mistakes and move on "I'm goin; out that door."
If anyone has any info I'd like to hear whether or not this song is another about Elizabeth. The "I'm not sleeping part." reminds me of the song "I wish I was girl" which is about Elizabeth.
