It's supposed to be a cry from jesus saying that he is not in the tv. I think this because he's rising on a cross made from tv's whilst performing this, so I guess what he's trying to say is these days tv has become like a god to us. "God is in the TV". It's pretty straight forward really.
Olivia - Symphonies don't have any lines and they're still songs.
his crucifix on the TV's (he is dressed in his flashy omega style) is Omegas media corruption, but yea deff god is TV to us is another meaning. check out this site, its all the manson info you need http://www.nachtkabarett.com/theOccult/Omega

lol
Written like a true masterpiece, the depth in this song is astounding! :)
This is a great song, kind of like an entry into a new age, popular religous experience. some references to mechanical animals. "this isnt me im not mechanical". Great song!! showing his powerful authority.
dude, it is two lines long: it isn't really a song... ~Olivia~
I think this song should have been included on Mechanical Animals, foreshadowing Omega
Mansons a genius! What a wonderfully thought-out song! I cant belive the indephness of it!
TWO WHOLE LINES OF GENIUS, OMFGROFL TIS IS SO AWESUM!1!!1!
This track is meant to go with the imagery he began every show on The Last Tour On Earth with. Television sets formed into a cross with Manson taking the famous pose on this cross.
"This isn't me I'm not mechanical."
This intro always lead into The Reflecting God, which was s statement of humanity destroying itself. And where is the most comfortable and convenient way to be a witness to our slow and cinematic suicide? That's right, the TV. He takes the role of the saviour of our entertainment. Someone who has died for it. But detaches themself from it to tell us that we're only wasting time, that we could be using to save ourselves. Why do you think The Reflecting God starts off the show? It's a warning. And it's beautiful.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is, stop being dumbasses and realize that no artist (especially one like Brian Warner) would make something because it sounds cool or to fill time. It will have meaning.
to erebusknight: if yourew talking about the "I don't like the drugs (But the Drugs like me) video, the cross represents manson being crusified by the media.
