Perfection in a pop song. Another of the half dozen or so understated and under-rated highlights on Scoundrel Days.

^ I wholeheartedly agree with the pillock above. Obviously it's about making a choice and regretting it or at least wondering what if.

I am rather shocked thar I am the only person to comment.

Me again. It's good isn't it this one. I would have loved to have seen the look of bewildered resentment on my face as I explored this ALBUM. THAT look giving way to acceptance, then admiration.

The realisation that A) There is a lot more to this band than the pop-epics from HH&L. B) That given time I got into the swing of this groove. C) It helped me (as a 14 year old boy) come to terms with the fact that those girls at school, who I am infatuated with, don't like boys like me. The irony of somebody as attractive as Morten Harkett singing about being lonely, losing her forever, etc didn't cross my mind.

Forgot to say, bye me, maybe catch you in another year or two. If I'm not dead.

I think this song is about a girl being in love while knowing that she can't get his attention. She is trying to deal with that fact (The one that you love Will never be found.)

This song has a very happy and upbeat sound for some unfitting darker lyrics. Such a bop though, love it every time I hear it.
