Grunge Pig Lyrics

I didn't take that blow to heart
You couldn't tear our home apart
You anything you wanted everything
I don't have brusies I can show
Scars from abuse without a blow
You anything you wanted everything

You don't owe anything to me

I didn't take that blow to heart
You couldn't tear our home apart
You anything you wanted everything

You don't owe anything to me
But don't expect me not to live

I ask each year
Why am I here
Begging you please
Remembering
I'd rather die than be alone

I didn't take that blow to heart
You couldn't tear our home apart
Give you anything you wanted everything

You don't owe anything to me
But don't expect me not to live

I ask each year
Why am I here
Begging you please
Remembering
I'd rather die than be alone

This is a great song. I interpret it to be about emotional abuse which caused bitterness and lonliness.

this is probably the song on the album that has grown on me the most... its so passionate! I was a little unsure of this song when I first heard it, due to many bad reviews, but now find it amazing and quite dark.

To me, this song is about verbal abuse. The person isn't getting hit literally, as he doesn't have scars to show, abuse without a blow. I think he's saying he wants to be himself, and he will leave to do that, although he doesn't like being alone. Its better than not having his individuality. Basically: I didn't take what you said to heart, you couldn't break this family up, I tried my best, you wanted more. Its too late though, you don't owe me anything. So as hard as it is, I'm over it. That's just what I get from it...

I may be totally wrong but after he says "you don't owe anything to me" it sounds like it might be "but don't expect me not to bleed(instead of live)" Tell me if it sounds that way to anyone else.

It sounds to me he's saying "but don't expect me not to LEAVE"... but that's just me. This is one of my faves on the new album. For me it's about an abusive situation and how hard it can be to get out of it. TGUK rock!

Went to the official web page and it said this:

"But don't expect me not to leave"

Ok bkt123 has right xD
