I think this one is pretty obvious. He's telling a young person that's feeling unsatisfied with life that they can start over and lose themselves in some sort of endeavor. That this person might have nothing, but they can just "start here and move forward", that it isn't complicated. Finally, he's letting them know that they'll figure out their problems, and even if they don't, they have him to lean on.
