This is by far my favorite dimmu song. Maybe. Dimmu Borgir is my favorite band really, and so meh. In any case, this song makes me laugh, sometimes I think they all got did in by some girl... and then you might throw in some other way like he was rather enticed by the actual mere thought of darkness... But, Big woody above me here, explains the third idea the best.. with which he is just led on and on... she teases him endlessly... And just never lets him do what he intends to do.

No you're not wrong. And to all others over here: You are ignorant fools. Do you really think a black metal band would write a song about their crush in some girl!?! They could... but then they wouldn't be black metal anymore, now would they? So, google a "sucubus" and get some facts before you start commenting the subject... othervise you end up writing nonsense comments like those.

P.S. to: raistlinmajere i can't belive you actually wrote that, yes like most of my friends i also listen to black metal, and we don't have any fear of girls or something like this. I'll ask you something; are you a girl? if you are, that explains a lot.. if you aren't then how a big dumbasss you have to be to write something like that.

I can agree with unholy on his comment, a black metal band would not be talking about romantic relationships. This is Dimmu Borgir, not the Fagstreet boys.

This song reminds me of the girl I had an affair with, she was great, but in the end she seemed to be able to grasp something deeper, leaving me in a trance. Great song. Watch out for those Succubus among us...

Thead Necromancy time! Comments above are imho juvenile in perspective. This song represents the core of attraction by a woman and the power it's magic can have over a man. The song's beauty and lyrics dives right into the feeling of being enchanted and the duality of it all. It can destroy lives and lead men into self-destruction, doing so with a smile and open eyes.. Fantastic lyrics that probably rise above the initial meaning by the author. Real art in my opinion!
