LA is a kick ass city..where i live!!!...this should be the offical "la" song....
The song is self-explanatory and really couldn't be any more litteral, although I am not denying if there is another meaning to it above the listeners..
Daniel Brummel likes Los Angeles. He doesn't want to leave, but he must, and this is why he scrambles to find a wa to try to forget about Los Angeles, as seen by the lyrics pasted below:

East of Ohio...that's referring to just getting far away from Los Angeles, but there must be a sure reason why he chose Ohio..
the last guy got what this song was written about right on i think but to me i turn it around and apply it to my own life. im going to move to LA for a number of reasons and i cant really stand the place where i live now. i like this part especially for this reason:
