Ravenous

The song is against agressive, brutally missionaristic christian sects. That is why the reference to Jesus. Not Jesus is carnivorous, but these sects act like a ravenous, carnivorous Jesus in their effort to grip every human soul, kill the 'flesh' that is the 'sinful' human nature in christian symbolism, while 'you have to die for yourself', and be exploited by them, to gain 'eternal spiritual life'.

one time a kid was reading what was on my mp3 player and he pronounced the song "RAVE-enous". Rave as in boom pish boon pish boom pish errrrtt a TAKA TAKA TAKA TAKA. I felt like slapping him one upside the head. So anyway yeah... can't get much more satanic than this song.

But anyway to the song. The whole song is totally insane. Not just the drums but the guitar if you ask me. Totally rocking song. CartoonVioulence...you dont know whats your talking about. But yes the song is great. Well cannibal corpse..its not praising satan nor satanism its just sick and by sick i do not mean just the lyrics and the farting noises the singer makes trough his nose i mean the whole bands history and live and the members.
