For a group thats as good as Union Underground I'm surprised that no one has posted on here yet. Anyway, I've picked up that a lot of UU's songs seem to deal with drugs, drug abuse and drug addiction. This one obviously seems to be about an addiction to some kinda downer (tranquilizers maybe?) and how the addict loves it so much that he's never going to learn that he's destroying himself and ruining his life.

Wow Tito...I'm surprised you listen to this. I came here to get the lyrics, and I couldn't leave the one and only post wrong.

The best part of the song is the only point. You say that you wanna never get high man, There's nothing better give it a try man (I thought it would be obvious to any listener of the genre of music)

And it's "your drivel killed the pig dead"
