Lady, I'm your knight in shining armor and I love you
You have made me what I am and I am yours
My love, there's so many ways I want to say "I love you"
Let me hold you in my arms forevermore

You have gone and made me such a fool
I'm so lost in your love
And, oh, we belong together
Won't you believe in my song?

Lady, for so many years I thought I'd never find you
You have come into my life and made me whole
Forever, let me wake to see you each and every morning
Let me hear you whisper softly in my ear

In my eyes, I see no one else but you
There's no other love like our love
And yes, oh, yes, I'll always want you near me
I've waited for you for so long

Lady, your love's the only love I need
And beside me is where I want you to be
'Cause, my love, there's somethin' I want you to know
You're the love of my life
You're my lady

OMuhGolly! What woman would get weak in the knees if her man had this for a song to express how he felt about her? I love it,it's absolutely beautiful. :)

The songwriter is taking great risk: putting his everything in her. What if she doesn't feel the same? No risk no reward. Love is only for those willing to put it all on the line.

A gorgeous song. I concur. What lady doesn't want to hear this from her man? Lionel Richie, Jr. wrote a great love song, and Kenny did wonders with his voice.

This is one of the sweetest songs... And like UTlonghorn said, I would love for a guy to sing this to me one day... "Lady, your love's the only love I need And beside me is where I want you to be 'cause, my love, there's somethin' I want you to know You're the love of my life, you're my lady"

one of the most romantic songs that i've ever heard... wow. This is purely breath-taking. I love the way he sings it - his passion, need and longing for the love of his life. What a dreamy song! This would be an amazing song at a wedding or an anniversary celebration. So yeah.. lionel richie actually wrote this song and gave it to kenny - amazing. I love lionel very much. Yeah i totally love the tune of this song - i can play it on piano.. the tune sounds a bit mysterious, its incredible. I love the words, oh just everything about this song!!!! its a timeless classic xox

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
