I skipped the part of the storyline with interesting characters and dialog
And sat alone to contemplate the place of cigarettes and rock and roll fashion

And its times like these at 32 degrees cabin fever silly day dreams
That slap me in the face and lock me in this place living out my adversity

And here in this world, I could find you in the corners of my head
And if I try, I could change the outcome, changing what I said

I skimmed right through never knowing
Who was good or bad or sad or glad although
I had the time to waste in all the familiar places

And here in this world, I could find you in the corners of my head
And if I try, I could change the outcome, changing what I said

But in this perfect world where nothing's perfect, I'm all alone.
But in this perfect world where nothing's perfect, I'm all alone.

    lovelovelove this song.

i haven't really got any ideas of what it means, it just seems to be about him in a contemplative mood i guess.

i love the lines "I skimmed right through never knowing who was good or bad or sad or glad although I had the time to waste in all the familiar places".

i can relate to these, because i think it means like, whenever he tries to sit down and think something important out, and to sort things out in his head (i.e. "who was good or bad or sad or glad"), instead his mind just drifts onto some useless subject ("familiar places"), and he never figures things out in his head.

    just a thought...

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
