I LOVE this song! It's so true some ppl act like anyone punk has problems and that we need to be "saved" from ourselves, it's nice to see someone stand up for us!!
This song is not about people thinking we need to be saved from ourselves, it is about what it says it is about. It's telling fascists, and/or republicans that they do not belong in the punk scene. It is a message to all the bands that are nationalists for america to get the hell out of this scene because that's not what punk is about. the song title comes from a blues guitarist who used to have a sticker on his guitar that said "this machine kills fascists" just some general knowlege for you..

this song doesnt just go out to Skrewdriver and No Remorse, probably even the Dropkick Murphys - i'd admit they have some good songs...but they need to drop the patriotism. and theres another american Oi band called Patriot. the name basically says it all. they need to get out of the punk scene and sing some southern rock

To me this song is clearly talking about SHARPS (skinheads against racial prejudice).

You probably know the SHARPS as the patriotic hicks at your local punk shows, dressed like the guys from American History X. Fucking kudos to Anti-Flag for writing about these assholes.
Idont really think it is about SHARPS because that is a nonracial oraganization, nothing else. The ideals that each member of the group have may be different and the nazi fuck thing does not apply to all skins of that kind. For me the song is vey explicit in what it is got to say about fascists think thay have an ideal and start fights for that while they are just nothing
