I'm Catholic by birth, but don't follow Catholicism, so I can definitely understand some anger towards this religious entity. Especially because of the gay issue. They hate gays, but child-molesting priests are given divine favor, so they are okay for some reason...

Most religious people are just so damn narrow-minded and judgemental idiots and rest of them are optimistic fools. I'm not judging ALL religious people, I'm just saying I mostly don't like religions and a lot of religious people can be annoying. But hey, it's your life believe in what you want as long as you shut up about it.

Catholics don't hate gays at all. They think it's a dangerous thing to practice but they don't HATE them.
Also, child-molesting priests are not given "divine favor". Many are excommunitcated. Not to mention, LESS than 1 % of priests in the church even molested, and many of those so called "molestations" were with adolescent males - so it's more like gay sex than total molestation.
