Jimmy Johnson Lyrics
I remember well
I'm holding him down
Silent partner to his torture
Tortures me now
Pounding the mold
Force the odd-size piece
Why did they put Jimmy Johnson
In a place he didn't belong,
In some new school he might find others just like him
Obviously he's retarded
Look at your kids, look at what they see
Focus on an easy target, torment the freak
One golden rule
Children are cruel
No one here's more Jimmy Johnson but where the kids are rotten
Jimmy make us proud!
Jimmy Johnson, our martyr and our only son
So sorry, please forgive us for all that we done,
We thought it would be best for you if you could coexist
We had to put you to the test
I'm holding him down
Silent partner to his torture
Tortures me now
Pounding the mold
Force the odd-size piece
Why did they put Jimmy Johnson
In a place he didn't belong,
In some new school he might find others just like him
Obviously he's retarded
Focus on an easy target, torment the freak
Children are cruel
No one here's more Jimmy Johnson but where the kids are rotten
Jimmy Johnson, our martyr and our only son
So sorry, please forgive us for all that we done,
We thought it would be best for you if you could coexist

this song reminds me of being mean to this kid back in 2nd grade. makes me very sad.
thats what this song is about. a special needs kid who gets dropped into a normal school and then gets the crap kicked out of him.
The rest of the lyrics are here:

The song is about picking on the outcast and regreting it later.
Fixed.
I'm pretty sure all the above lyrics are incorrect, I think it's:
I remember well them holding him down silent partner to his torture tortures me now pound in the mold forth the outside space (really dont think this line is right, but meh) why did they put jimmy johnson in a place he didn't belong in some new school he might find others just like him obviously he's retarded
(look at your peers)
look at what they see focus on an easy target torment the freak one golden rule: children are cruel no one hears poor jimmy johnson cry when the kids are rotten
jimmy make us proud jimmy johnson a martyr and our only son so sorry please forgive us for all that we've done we thought it would be best for you if you could coexist we had to put you to the test
What it's really about is a mentally handicapped kid that the singer remembers form his school days. "Silent Partner to his Torture" explains the singer -- he always saw Jimmy get Stallowned, but never did anything about it.
Anyways, Jimmy's a martyr because either A) He died from all this (which is unlikely), or B) It ruined him for life.
And yeah, sad.
^^ Yes those are the correct lyrics, although I think it's "our martyr" not "a martyr"....
This song hits me hard every time. It's obviously about how cruel children can be. With the example being this fictional(?) kid Jimmy Johnson that was in special-ed, but didn't belong there. The other kids picked on him anyway. Jimmy was smart enough to understand his situation. Smart enough to feel the sting of his peer's rejection, and it ends up killing him.
I was such a dick to so many kids. I feel so fucking bad now decades later. I feel like I played a part in ruining the childhood of so many kids that just had issues... I had such an easy ride, and used my comfort to torment the ones that already had it tougher than me... What a clueless prick... but I didn't know better... you can't know better at that age. You're lucky not to know better. It will never change, but I still have a lot of people to apologize to.
