No more waiting on them
As you rise inside new rooms
It's official you've gone
You can live for no one else
Man the guilt must be huge
As there's no gain in failure
You succeed at being mine
Yeah, old friend, see you there
I will be proud from afar
I can paint a picture
In a moment
Of memories
And there aren't many left
I am extradited, uninvited
It's just another saturday.
Take a step to freedom
You and her against this cruel world
Take a breath of shelter and exhale
Trust and allegiance
Liberate yourself from hell
It's just another saturday
Just another saturday.
As you rise inside new rooms
It's official you've gone
You can live for no one else
Man the guilt must be huge
As there's no gain in failure
You succeed at being mine
Yeah, old friend, see you there
I will be proud from afar
I can paint a picture
In a moment
Of memories
And there aren't many left
I am extradited, uninvited
It's just another saturday.
Take a step to freedom
You and her against this cruel world
Take a breath of shelter and exhale
Trust and allegiance
Liberate yourself from hell
It's just another saturday
Just another saturday.

Says it all right there. He told the stageit.com crowd this today during his one song concert.
Joey Cape: You know, it was me, hungover in an apartment with some girl I went home with from the bar the night before. There was an acoustic guitar in the corner. I heard this ruckus happening in a park adjacent to the apartment complex, and it was just a wedding happening on this Saturday, May 16. And my heart just broke; this wedding that I hadn’t been invited to for someone I was so close to for so many years of my life, where a misunderstanding caused a falling out between us from some time before. That story is very long and I don’t want to revisit it, but I kind of picked up the guitar and the first thing that came to mind was: “It’s just another Saturday,” but obviously I was in denial. The melody and the song came together; by the time my new friend got out of the shower or whatever, I had this terribly sad song.
BUT, What does this song mean ?
I think it's about breaking out and becoming your own person. i guess this is to someone who's lived off of someone else or in his shadow. what does everyone else think?
i think it's pretty obivious that sic n twisted knows just nothing about this kind of music.
"No more waiting on them(Parents)...as you rise inside new rooms(New home)" Well, thats what it sounds like to me. The last part helps...."I am extradited, uninvited" Its a totally awesome song and i'm probably just over-analyzing.
