Pinfield: Hey, It's the bald man here and I'm here to tell you why the new Limp Bizkit CD is so great. That's because CD's like this one spare you from all the Chart-topping, Teeny-Boppin', disposable happy horse shit that brings up the bile from the back of my neck. I have no time or tolerance for all shitty wack acts like that. I wouldn't piss on thier CD's to put out a fire. And I'm Tired of all the lame-ass, tame-ass, pre-fabricated sorry excuses for singers and musicians who don't even write their own songs. What the world needs now is a musical revolutiuon. We need some rock, we need something that has boss. We something with soul, some depth, some edge, some passion, some power. Shit, if it's gonna be mellow, fuck, man, it better have something, it better mean something! I'm so sick of this shit that I'm hearing on the radio-- radio sucks! The same fuckin songs over, and over again! All the weak ones, all that disposable crap that isn't gonna matter in 3 months, it's just shit! It's crap, fred. Fred I'm telling you there's nothing but shit goin' on and we need some new music.

Fred: W-Wha-What about Limp Bizkit?

Pinfield: Limp Bizkit is fuckin cool, you guys are cool, the new record's great. But fuck all that other shit! I'm so sick of all that weak shit that's takin up space on the charts. Fuck that shit, Fred I'm Outta' here!

Fred: Fuck, dude. Fuckin' Pinfield is pissed. Oh, man I gotta go find that bald bastard. Hey, Matt! Matt!

I couldn't agree more with Matt on this one. Sure, Limp BIzkit may have sold out, but I'd still rather listen to them than that fuckin Bend-Over Boys & N'Shit crap that has completely no meaning.

you know, i'm sure so many people read this, but hear me: all this shit sucks! every comment is lifeless; except for the life one, and it's so poorly written, pissed snow patterns are more proper. any way, hear me: all this shit; korn, limp bizkit, tool, chevelle, metallica(yes, they suck too), BSB, and n'sync. what the fuck do they have in common? yeah they all suck. that doesn't do it. they are all fresh shit from the cows ass(that barley gets the point across). matt pinfield or whatever had it right! we need a music revolution, but not with bullshit "nu-metal" or another disco era(too late for that, the dreaded "rap" era is in). what we need is a revolution like the beatles provided - something that will last more than there 5 minutes of fame. i mean my god, in 15 years ask the youth who fucking fred durst or munky is. shit, they won't know. ask them who the beatles or ozzy osbourne or whoever and what do you get? some knowledge man. we need to do what the beatles did then, take the shit like patsey cline(whatever her name is) and pollute(the only way to express it; when something's polluted chances are it's everywhere) the radio or anywhere with the beatles! that needs to happen now; a badass band come along and wipe out the shit like korn, limp, and justin timberlake(nirvana also did this to the shitty 80s' hair metal **excluding ozzy osbourne. man I hate this, one day I hope to take my ibanez with custom pickups and revolutionize the whole world with music worth listening too- kurt cobain did it, so did the beatles. why can't I? easy answer- i can. so can you. man somthing needs to happen. it sucks for the youth like me man, when my dad was growing up- he had the chance to see aerosmith when they rocked, black sabbath, bad company, deep purple, nirvana, sublime, pink floyd, and ac/dc. man seriously, the only shit i'd pay to go see is the offspring; and right now they're working on an album and havn't toured anywhere except for benifit shows since Conspiracy. god, the allmighty lord jesus christ, pull us out of this. just send a nirvana or the beatles one more friggin' time.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
