Lucky And Unhappy Lyrics
Do I need?
Destiny
Do I need?
Schedule live
Do I need?
Venus joy
Do I need?
Recess lines
Lucky and unhappy
Vote for a freestyle life
Lucky and unhappy
Driving on the freeway flash line
Lucky and unhappy
Vote for a freestyle life
Lucky and unhappy
Driving on the freeway flash line
Do I feel?
Helium dreams
Do I feel?
Fresh impacts
Do I feel?
Hot joy nights
Do I feel?
Jessica
Lucky and unhappy

this is what I hear for the 1st and 3rd verses:
Do I need Destiny? Do I need Schedule life? Do I need Working trends? Do I need Recess Lines?
Do I feel Helium dreams? Do I feel Fresh impacts? Do I feel Endless nights? Do I feel Venus joy?
and I may not be completely correct on some of the endings to some of the words, but it's the basic idea.
anyway, this is an amazing song. it kindof reminds me of a Brave New World scenario...where everyone would think they were so lucky to live in such a world but yet, some of the people are really unhappy.
Hmm thats an interesting comparison. I thought it was about celebrity life with drugs and lots of sex .. and suddenly yearning for normal, cleaner life. But then again, Brave New World did reflect partly that idea (on a nation wide scale).
Cleary this song talks about the freestyle life and his spiritual characteristic.
All good artist has a high spirituality, so his life is rebel, from the religious viewpoint this free souls are luciferians, caus they take his own free life out of rules, but amazing this band rejected this fact when they say:
Do i need? Venus joy Venus is the morning star, symbol of lucifer, so they confirm his pure spiritual free life style, I love this band.
All great band write spiritual puzzles in them songs.
This song speaks out to me in taking ultimate control of your own life, and not simply just following set trends which lead to happiness: High jobs in the city for example, lucky in the eyes of many, yet unhappyness prevails. Rather if being a hobo on the streets would make you happier, go for it. It's a philosophy I follow strongly.
Yeah I know what youre saying but I must disagree with the hobo having ultimate freedom. A guy I know works as a mall guard (shitty job - dunno who's more of a fool he or the hobos...) and a big part of his job is kicking the hobos and the drunks out of the premises. Whether they are trying to steal something or just loitering there, they are not wanted. They are being forced by physical means on a daily basis. A coworker of his used to call them "human scumm" while carrying out the job, usually they were too spaced out or weak to resist any abuse they were inflicted (this is what I hear).. so I don't know, would you call that ultimate freedom? At least the guy with the high end job can quit anytime.

To me this song is about living a full happy life by taking chances and being spontaneous, rather than just going through the motions to attain wealth/comfort/security. Great great song.
