Serpent Ride Lyrics
Upon the wings of the dream, she rides
Oh she comes to me
Fills me with light
Towards the dark side of the moon, we fly
She sings me a tune
away through the silvery starlight
I don't want to wake up this time
I'm alive on this serpent ride
In the grace of our love
We writhe in pain
further into this solar fog
Mezmerized
A drop of her blood tastes like wine
I answer her call with a rhyme
That is not dead which can eternal lie
And with strange aeons Death may die
In your eyes lies the world where I don't wanna go
said you changed but I don't believe in miracles
Since you conquered my heart
We've never been apart
One day we'll close our eyes
Open them again
And discover each other
So i open up my eyes
She treats me with a smile
From her wrists flows wine
Oh she comes to me
Fills me with light
Towards the dark side of the moon, we fly
She sings me a tune
away through the silvery starlight
I'm alive on this serpent ride
We writhe in pain
further into this solar fog
Mezmerized
A drop of her blood tastes like wine
I answer her call with a rhyme
And with strange aeons Death may die
said you changed but I don't believe in miracles
Since you conquered my heart
We've never been apart
One day we'll close our eyes
Open them again
And discover each other
She treats me with a smile
From her wrists flows wine

i think this song is about how he found the girl of his life and after she won his heart they will never be apart ever again
good song, but not as good as Borellus
i think this song is about how this guy narrating the song found this perfect girl to be in a relationship with, but they have problems like everybody else. they love each other so they struggle through them evnen though they are hard to deal with and could possibly tear them apart. and then they find their solutions in eachothers love.(this happpens in the last verse)
that is not dead which can eternal lie yet with strange aeons death may die
that part is from a short story called Shadow over Innsmouth by H.P Lovecraft. Borellus is also about a Lovecraft-story
suburban beat me to it:) Actually it is a quote from Necronomicon, a book often used in Lovecraft's writing. I believe the story it is in is The Nameless City.
